President Fouad Masoum of Iraq received on Sunday at Al Salam Palace in Baghdad UAE Charge D’affaires Ahmed bin Nasr Al Zaabi.
Al Zaabi conveyed to President Masoum greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
He said the UAE, under the wise leadership, had been very keen on maintaining best relations with brotherly Iraq in all fields. He also renewed UAE’s support to the political process in Iraq aimed at achieving security, justice and equality.
President Masoum reciprocated the greetings to Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and said his country attached great importance to its ties with the UAE.
He also expressed admiration for the UAE’s successful experiment in establishing a secure, stable and prosperous federal state.
