As Dubai Chambers leads a trade mission to Yerevan, new figures reveal Armenian investments in Dubai have climbed to US$383 million

Armenian investments in Dubai reached approximately US$383 million between 2018 and 2024, reflecting growing economic cooperation between the two markets, according to Salem Al Shamsi, Executive Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers.
Salem revealed that 79 new Armenian companies joined the Dubai Chamber of Commerce during the first half of 2025, bringing the total number of active Armenian member companies to around 500. He noted that the rise in registrations highlights increasing investor confidence in Dubai’s business-friendly environment and reinforces its status as a leading global investment hub.
Speaking on the sidelines of Dubai Chambers’ trade mission to Yerevan from 22nd to 23rd October, Al Shamsi said the expansion of Armenian business activity in Dubai is part of a broader trend of deepening bilateral relations.
He highlighted that non-oil trade between Dubai and Armenia surged to US$7 billion (AED25.7 billion) in 2024, marking a 76 percent increase compared with 2023. The sharp growth, he said, reflects the strong momentum in economic cooperation and the shared commitment to expanding trade and investment opportunities.
The Dubai Chambers delegation, which includes representatives from 16 Emirati companies across sectors such as food, agriculture, technology, and manufacturing, aims to explore partnership opportunities and identify areas for collaboration in the Armenian market.
Al Shamsi emphasised that Armenia offers strategic potential for Emirati investors, noting its growing openness to foreign direct investment and emerging opportunities across consumer goods, logistics, hospitality, food and beverages, ICT, and consultancy services.
The visit forms part of Dubai Chambers’ broader strategy to enhance global trade connectivity, strengthen economic diplomacy, and expand the international presence of Dubai-based enterprises in high-potential markets such as Armenia.
