Abu Dhabi Government, during the second day of GITEX Global 2024, launched a series of strategic initiatives and signed several Memoranda of Understanding aimed at transforming public services in the emirate.

Participating at the Abu Dhabi Pavilion under the theme “Towards an AI-Native Government”, these projects mark a significant leap from digital services to next-generation solutions.

The highly anticipated TAMM 3.0 platform, developed by the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE), enhances the existing TAMM 2.0 and offers more than 800 government services.

With the introduction of the TAMM AI Assistant, the platform aims to elevate customer experience by simplifying user interactions with government services. The AI Assistant features a proactive smart to-do list and personalised support, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all users.

DGE also launched CX Spaces on TAMM 3.0, part of the broader Abu Dhabi Customer Experience initiative. The business and property spaces will consolidate essential services into integrated, user-friendly interfaces on TAMM to streamline government services and improve accessibility. By enhancing service delivery for property transactions and business licensing, DGE prioritises a customer-first approach to transform service delivery in Abu Dhabi by 2026.

The Sahatna app, developed by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH), consolidates health records and clinical interactions for citizens, residents, and businesses in Abu Dhabi, creating a centralised database for personalised healthcare. Users can benefit from AI-driven insights based on their medical and lifestyle information, which enables predictions and early prevention measures for their health.

Key features include an AI symptom checker, access to genomic reports, and integration with wearable devices for wellness tracking, empowering users to take control of their health.

Furthermore, the platform serves as a gateway for all primary care services, including appointment booking and teleconsultations. It also facilitates access to insurance information and includes home delivery services for medication refills for individuals with chronic conditions.

The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) introduced an AI-Enabled Construction Platform, merging advanced AI with Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology to streamline the submission, review, and approval of building permits.

This platform allows consultants to convert 2D CAD drawings into detailed 3D models for comprehensive project reviews, along with an AI chatbot providing quick access to building codes and regulations.

Abu Dhabi Police launched the Future Patrol Project, a versatile hybrid vehicle designed for security and defence operations. Equipped with advanced technology, this patrol vehicle enhances performance in tasks such as patrolling, rapid response, and intervention.

The Data Hub and Future Reporting Advancement – DHAFRA initiative was also launched to establish a flexible data management framework for Abu Dhabi Customs. This comprehensive system enhances data classification, facilitates exchange, and improves operational quality while analysing large datasets for strategic decision-making.

On the second day of GITEX Global 2024, government entities from Abu Dhabi also revealed various cooperation projects and strategic agreements.
Abu Dhabi Police announced cooperation with e& in communications and infrastructure sharing, as well as a cooperation with Jhua and Huawei in the fields of production and manufacturing of smart devices and systems.

DoH signed MoU with Accenture, Cognizant, Microsoft, e&, Philips and the Ministry of Health and Prevention.

The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development also signed a MoU with 7X to explore the development of a digital mailbox platform, while Abu Dhabi Customs signed a cooperation agreement with the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) to enhance digital integration and raise the efficiency of the level of services, and with FedEx to achieve the same.

The DMT revealed its cooperation with Core42 in AI and cloud computing and with LOCAI to raise the level of innovation technology in the field of smart cities, data and AI, in addition to cooperation with Siemens in smart and cognitive cities, and with Presight in research, development and implementation of AI technologies and applications in the fields of transportation.

Finally, the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council announced its cooperation with du.

As GITEX Global 2024 continues, the Abu Dhabi Government remains dedicated to showcasing AI-native governance and data-driven service delivery, reinforcing the emirate’s position as a global leader in next-generation transformation.
