Thumbay Group UAE has appointed a management board as part of its “vision 2020” plan for the business, elevating existing management into senior positions.
As announced by the founder president of the group Thumbay Moideen: Akbar Moideen Thumbay has been promoted to VP of healthcare following the establishment of Thumbay Clinics, Thumbay Pharmacies and Zo & Mo Optical shops in UAE and India; Akram Moideen Thumbay, director of construction and renovations; Moideen Farhad C., director of hospitality; and Nazeer Hussain Patayath, director of finance and budgets for the group.
The board will be the final decision making body and will be responsible to formulate the strategies for the group operations all over the world.
As per the strategic plan, the group is planning to establish up to four university campuses and 15 hospitals in other countries. The group is also looking at expanding our retail business ventures in GCC and other countries in the coming five to seven years, thus increasing the staff strength to over 10,000 employees with an estimated business of $2bn.
