As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, Gerald Charles will present an important chapter of its heritage at Dubai Watch Week 2025, transporting the recently inaugurated Gerald Charles Museum from Geneva to Dubai for the very first time.

Usually based in Switzerland, the Museum is dedicated to the creative world of Gérald Charles Genta, whose imagination shaped some of the most iconic designs in watchmaking history. It holds an extensive archive of original sketches, technical drawings, prototypes, and timepieces that reflect the artistic freedom and inventiveness of his later years. This collection stands as a living testament to the Maison’s dedication to preserving his legacy while inspiring future generations of watchmakers and collectors worldwide.

Creating a museum is a rare gesture for a contemporary watch brand. It reflects a deep respect for heritage and an understanding that true innovation can only exist when the past is studied and cherished. By opening its archive to the public, Gerald Charles allows visitors to witness the creative journey of its founder and to understand the artistic foundations that continue to shape the Maison’s modern identity.

For the duration of Dubai Watch Week, a curated selection of the Museum’s most emblematic pieces will be exhibited at the Gerald Charles booth, transformed into a re-creation of the Geneva space. Visitors are invited to step inside and discover the story of the Maison, one that connects art and engineering, heritage and innovation, past and present.

This presentation marks a significant milestone, symbolizing the brand’s continued evolution while staying true to the creative spirit of its founder. The participation of Gerald Charles at Dubai Watch Week also highlights the Maison’s long-standing relationship with its regional partner, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, who believed in the brand from its earliest days. Together, they share a commitment to cultivating fine watchmaking appreciation in the UAE and across the region.

Through this special showcase, Gerald Charles invites collectors, connoisseurs, and watch enthusiasts to step into the world of a visionary, celebrating timeless design, innovation, and the enduring soul of a Maison that continues to grow while honouring its roots.
