Abu Dhabi Motors is once again the best performing BMW Group importer in the Middle East, with 3,435 BMW and MINI vehicles delivered to customers across the Capital and in Al Ain during the first quarter of 2015.

Representing a 29% growth in sales compared to the same period last year, Abu Dhabi Motors’ first-quarter success follows on from a record-breaking 2014, in which it became the first importer to ever break the 10,000 vehicles milestone in the Middle East. “We are delighted to have kick started our 30th year of partnership with the BMW Group with exceptional sales,” commented Arno Husselmann, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Motors.

Growth was driven by exceptional sales from a number of the BMW brand’s top-of-the-range models, including: the BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle with 1,990 vehicles sold, BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupé with 463 and the BMW 5 Series with 252 sold.

The revolutionary BMW i8 plug-in hybrid sports car, the second model to be unveiled by BMWi, the Group’s sub-brand focusing solely on developing sustainable products and mobility services, also contributed to Abu Dhabi Motors’ first-quarter growth. Since its arrival in the Capital in June last year, the world’s most progressive 2+2 seater sports car has turned heads when spotted on the roads, setting a new benchmark in the hybrid market thanks to its combination of the performance and appeal of a sports car with the fuel consumption and emissions of a small car.

Another key driver of Abu Dhabi Motors’ success is its resolute commitment to providing customers with exceptional service standards. “Our growth shows us that our extreme dedication to deliver unmatched sales and service standards is the right strategy that ultimately results in successful sales achievements,” added Husselmann. “For the first three months of this year, customer satisfaction score of 97.7% in sales and 96.6% in service. This, coupled with our portfolio of high-option, innovative cars, an unmatched service inclusive + repair package for 6 years, and or 150,000km’s as well as a team of dedicated industry professionals is the key to our success.”

Another example of the importer’s customer-centric approach is its recent contract with Audatex, the leading global provider of insurance claims solutions, which is now available across all Abu Dhabi Motors’ service centres and body shops. Audatex offers the scope of accurate assessments valued highly by car owners and insurance houses. Operating as the hub of the accident insurance industry, they connect insurers, body shops, vehicle manufacturers, accident management companies, vehicle owners, fleet managers, dealers, parts suppliers, salvage agents and many other parties in the supply chain. Their solutions and services automate the motor claims and repair process from first notification right through to final settlement.

“When a damaged vehicle is brought in it is connected to the Audatex system. As a result of its integrated connectivity, the system immediately provides an accurate estimate of the damage as well as the cost of repair. It even goes a step further and identifies the specific parts that need to be replaced as well as the associated costs,” commented Husselmann. “This is the perfect example of the types of innovative services and technologies that we implement in order to delight and exceed our customers’ expectations,” he concluded.
