Thai Ambassador to the U.A.E., Warawudh Chuwiruch, today here toured the Thai Products Exhibition at which 44 Thai Companies feature their high-end products.

He said that his country strives to strengthen trade and economic ties with the U.A.E., being the biggest trade partner to Thailand in the Middle East, and the fifth in the trade volume exchange ranking, projecting that the trade exchange with the U.A.E. would surge by 10 per cent at the year end.

Thai Consul-General in Dubai, Thosaporn Moonlasartsathorn, stressed the depth of trade and economic ties between Thailand and the U.A.E., reiterating that his government is keen to further upgrade the trade and economic relations with the U.A.E. in general and Dubai in particular.

He emphasised that his government is interested in opening communication channels between the Thai Business Community and its counterpart in Dubai.

The Thai diplomat said the Thai exports to the U.A.E. includes agricultural and industrial products, as well as halal chickens.
