Bentley Motors Middle East achieves record growth in H1 2014

Bentley Motors Middle East has announced its most successful half yearever with an overall increase in deliveries of 30% in comparison to the same period last year.

The results have also revealeda positive startfor the new Flying Spur W12 since its arrival in the region in September, 2013.

The popularity of the 6 litre W12 engine model is expected to continue throughout the second half of the year,alongside new introductions to the prestigious Bentley family, including the new Continental GT V8 S, which will arrive at Bentley dealers this month (August 2014),the new Flying Spur V8 and the new Continental GT Speed, which will arrive in the Middle East by the end of 2014.

Neil Wilford, Regional Manager, Middle East, India and Africa, Bentley Motors, said: “This is a particularly exciting time for Bentley Motors in this region.All of our key Middle East markets have grown during the first half of 2014 while our UAE and KSA dealerscontinue to hold the prestigious positions of the number one and two Bentley dealers in the world respectively.

“These positions are testament to the appeal of Bentley Motors with Middle East customers, who understand and appreciate the ultimate in automotive craftsmanship, performance and luxury.”

Wilford, continued: “Our continuing commitment to this region is my priority and together with our regional dealers we are looking forward to a pivotal year for Bentley Motors Middle East.”

The arrival of the new Continental GT V8 S, has addedyet another new dimension to the Continental range. With lowered and retuned sports suspension, sharper steering, dramatic ‘S’ signature styling cues and a distinctive soundtrack from the uprated V8 engine, driving enthusiasts can look forward to a more exciting drive, witha sharper, more sporting edge.

Globally, Bentley deliveries were up in every international region, with the Americas remaining the number one market for Bentley with an 8% increase from 2013. With this sales success Bentley maintains its position as the leading manufacturer of luxury vehicles in the world.

–    Al Wajba Motors, Qatar: +53%

–    Saudi Arabia, Al Ghassan: +29%

–    UAE, Al Habtoor Motors: +16%

–    Oman, Wattayah Motors: +114%

–    Bahrain, Ahmed Zayani& Sons: +90%
