Swiss Bureau gives a contemporary feel to Property Finder office

From a modest beginning on Sheizh Zayed Road, to Media City with 30 employees occupying a small space in the tower, Property Finder has now expanded its premises to take over the entire 15th floor spanning 15,600sqft in Shatha Tower.

“This has been my goal since we moved into a small corner office of this building back in 2012. I had my eyes on the entire floor visualising what the office would eventually look like and I am very excited that it is materialising today,” says Michael Lahyani, founder and CEO of Property Finder.

Swiss Bureau Interior Design, which has previously designed the office interiors, was again commissioned to design this new phase of expansion that spans approximately 3,400sqft. Swiss Bureau was given a design brief to refrain from being overly corporate and instead give a contemporary, young feel. The design of the extended space keeps in line with the existing office, in terms of materials, design details, and collaboration spaces. Property Finder’s vibrant branding and work-life culture was the source of inspiration for the design.

Some of the office’s prominent design features are the open work stations, collaboration booths, a central Olive tree feature in the elevator lobby to metaphorically represent the company’s vision of limitless growth, green features for employee well-being and varied types of working station options, such as traditional clusters of workstations as well as informal work areas. Wood cladding and a bold red are generously used in the minimalistic décor.
