dwp was appointed to re-design two floors of a private government of Dubai office. The development of the 5,000sqm space was to be designed by dwp from concept stage through to detailed design including the fit-out of the project as well as supervision services during construction. Summertown Interiors carried out the fit-out works for the same.
Sustainability aspirations were to be strongly considered as part of the design concept as well as the brands desire to be a leader in workplace design. Innovative design, smart space planning and use of technology were all necessary to this workplace design to showcase competitiveness through design excellence.
The office includes several unique team collaboration meeting zones, large open plan desk areas, strategically placed quiet zones, meeting rooms and stylish pantry with striking marble bench. The fit out is in line with LEED green building criteria. The design and fit out aims to achieve LEED Gold level certification, which is the 2nd highest level of the world’s most widely used green building rating system.
Here’s the design tour of the office.
