Qatar Exchange Index Drops 147.07 Points

Qatar Exchange index dropped 147.07 points (1.24%) to close at 11,669.43 points Sunday afternoon.
The trading value today was QR 414,438,556.95 compared to QR 531,530,455.64 when trading closed for the weekend on Thursday.
The volume of 10,570,537 shares increased from 9,889,709 on Thursday and the 5,569 trades was a drop from 6,247 deals on Thursday.
From the 43 listed companies seven registered gains while 36 went down.
From the banking sector, Qatar National Bank (QNB) led the gainers, up QR 3 (+1.85%) to QR 165. Doha Bank closed at QR 55.50, up 50 dirhams (+0.91%).
From Consumer Goods and Services, Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Company (QCFS) was the sole gainer, up QR 1.75 (+4.22%) to QR 43.25.
Salam International share dropped -6.36%, to close at QR 16.20, down QR -1.10 from the previous closing.
