Qatar Petroleum’s Dukhan Operations recently hosted students from IFP School in France as part of their annual technical visit to Qatar.
The students were accompanied by Jean-Claude Heidmann, Director, Isabell Rey-Fabret, Associate Professor, both from the IFP School’s Centre for Exploration-Production, and Mrs. Mariam Norcio Recalde, Corporate Social Responsibility Officer from Total E&P Qatar.
During their visit, the students listened to presentations by officials from QP’s Gas Recycling and Production Departments, and these were followed by site tours to the two plants. The student’s next stop was the Dukhan Learning Centre, where they toured the processing and instrumentation workshop. The group also visited the historic Dukhan Well No. 1, which many of the students were keen to see, said the company in a press release today.
