ADNOC Distribution to Retail 50lbsLPG Cylinders in Service Stations across Northern Emirates from June29

ADNOC Distribution has announced starting June 29, 50lbsLPG cylinders will be retailed acrossits service stations in the emirate of Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

The decision allows UAE nationals with a Rahal E-Gas card to buy gas cylinders at a subsidized rate of AED30 per cylinder, the same retail price offered in Abu Dhabi. A monthly cap has also been set that permits the purchaseof one 50lbs andtwo 25lbs cylinders on a monthly basis.

The move articulates the directive of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President and Chairman of the Supreme Petroleum Council, and the follow-up of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, as part of their vision to provide seamlessconvenience toallcitizens of the UAE.

For his part, His Excellency Abdulla Nasser Al Suwaidi, Director General of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ADNOC Distribution,applauded the UAE leadership’s vision and said ADNOC is motivatedto leverage all of its resources for appropriate implementation of the directive.

His Excellency Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, said: “We commend the UAE leadership for their relentless efforts to ensure the well-being of our citizens. Our efforts to roll out the delivery of 50lbs LPG cylinders across our service stations in the emirates reflectADNOC Distribution’scommitment to conforming to the direction of our wise leadership.”

To ensure their eligibility to purchase ADNOC Distribution’s latest offering in the Northern Emirates,Rahal E-Gas cards holders are required to update their data. E-Gas cards are issued free of charge to UAE nationals through Rahal card outlets in Abu Dhabi, the Western Region and Al Ain and Sharjah. The cards are also issued through Rahal E-Gas selling points located across a number of ADNOC Distribution’s service stations in the Northern Emirates.

UAE nationals need to submit a filled in application form, copy of their passport and family book for the purchase of Rahal E-gas cards atthe issuing centers.Rahal E-Gas cards can also be recharged fora value of AED200 minimum cape. UAE nationals wishing to know more about the service are invited to call 800 300 (toll free) or visit www.adnoc-dist.ae/.

ADNOC Distribution retails LPG cylinders at its service stations across Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah on a round-the-clock basis.
