Kuwait and Cambodia signed Friday an agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, special and service passports from both countries.
“The agreement is a fruit of months-long joint efforts and talks to enhance bilateral relations and to facilitate movement of holders of these passports between the two Asian countries,” Kuwait Ambassador Dhrar Al-Twijeri told KUNA.
The agreement was signed in a ceremony held at the Cambodian Foreign Ministry Headquarters in the capital Phnom Penh.
He added that the agreement would be put into effect shortly after completing some legal procedures.
“The agreement opens the door for developing the relations between the two governments and to signing other pacts,” the Ambassador said.
