King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu handled approximately 8,1 million tons of various goods and petroleum derivatives in last May.
The Port Director General, Engineer Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Haddad said the total imported goods amounted to 536,034 tons, while the total exports were 7,543,848 tons; and the number of vessels reached 135 ships, containers 472 and the number of maritime movements amounted to 338.
He stressed that the port is working to harness all its potentials, equipment, operational efficiency and the capacity of its facilities as well as the provision of access to it to the highest levels of quality and accuracy in performance.
