The Ministry of Interior signs a strategic agreement with HUMAIN to localize AI solutions, enhance digital capabilities, and drive smarter government operations

Saudi Arabia’s Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs, Prince Dr. Bandar bin Abdullah bin Mishari, confirmed that the Ministry of Interior’s strategic agreement with HUMAIN reflects its commitment to adopting advanced technologies and localizing artificial intelligence solutions. HUMAIN is a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company specializing in delivering full-stack AI capabilities at a global level.

Signed during the opening of the Absher Conference 2025, held under the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, the agreement represents a key step in strengthening the ministry’s high-performance computing infrastructure. The initiative supports the modernization of the ministry’s technological environment and enhances the efficiency of both operational and administrative functions.

Prince Dr. Bandar explained that the agreement focuses on expanding the ministry’s digital capabilities by adopting advanced domestic technologies, including large language models, high-performance computing systems, and intelligent AI solutions. These advancements aim to improve service quality, enhance operational efficiency, support advanced data analysis, and enable informed decision-making.

HUMAIN CEO Tareq Amin noted that the partnership underscores the company’s mission to deliver secure, high-performance AI solutions, including advanced Arabic language models and intelligent analytics tools tailored to the needs of government entities. He added that the agreement aligns with national AI adoption strategies and approved technical and governance standards.

In parallel, the Ministry of Interior announced the launch of the Artificial Intelligence Channel (HUMAIN Chat) on the Absher–Interior Platform. The new service allows ministry personnel to access advanced AI tools that support information retrieval, administrative tasks, knowledge-based operations, and interactive analytics—boosting productivity, improving output quality, and enhancing daily operational performance.
