The Sharjah Investment Forum and WAIPA World Investment Conference unite to shape the future of global investment strategies

The 8th edition of the Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF 2025) will officially open tomorrow, Wednesday, 22 October, at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre, in a landmark event held in conjunction with the WAIPA World Investment Conference (WIC 2025) for the first time in Sharjah.
Bringing together over 10,000 participants from 142 countries, the joint forum is poised to become one of the most significant global platforms for investment dialogue this year. The high-level gathering will feature a distinguished lineup of 130 speakers, including ministers, economic leaders, senior policymakers, and thought leaders from around the world.
Organised by the Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) in partnership with the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and the UAE Ministry of Investment, the event is being held under the theme: “Transforming Our World: Investing for a Resilient and Sustainable Future.” This year’s theme underscores Sharjah’s growing prominence as a hub for global economic dialogue and a testbed for innovative investment strategies that drive sustainable development.
A World-Class Line-up of Speakers and Policymakers
The forum will be inaugurated by Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Government Relations in Sharjah, and will feature high-level participation from global leaders, including:
- Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, UAE Minister of Investment
- Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy, Republic of Azerbaijan
- Miguel Medina, Minister of Investment Promotion, Honduras
- Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh, Minister of Investment, Pakistan
Also contributing to the robust programme are:
- Osama Fadhel, Assistant Under-Secretary, Industrial Accelerators Sector, UAE Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology (MoIAT)
