U.A.E. officials discuss cooperation with Chad

U.A.E. Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs, Khaled Ghanem Al Ghaith, today received Chad’s Secretary of State of for Planning and Cooperation, Mariam Mahamat Nour, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

In his remarks at the meeting, Al Ghaith emphasised U.A.E.’s interest in furthering bilateral economic, trade and investment relations with Chad.

He also stressed on the need for signing economic agreements, on avoidance of double taxation and air services in particular, with African country in order to facilitate the movement of persons and agricultural crops.

On her part, the Chadian senior official noted that her country will offer all facilities for U.A.E. investors to streamline investments between the two countries and boost economic cooperation.

Consul-General of Chad in Dubai, Mosa Ahmed ATajeddin, and former Chadian minister Mosa Mahamadou Addy attended the meeting.
