DWTC Hospitality, the hospitality division of Dubai World Trade Centre, delivered an exceptional performance at the Emirates International Salon Culinaire 2025, securing 51 medals across all competition categories and the coveted “Best Effort by an Individual Establishment International Emirates Salon Culinaire” award for the third consecutive year, reinforcing DWTC Hospitality’s position as a leader in culinary excellence.

The outstanding accolades comprised of 16 gold medals recognising extraordinary culinary artistry and innovation, 21 silver medals demonstrating consistent high-quality performance across multiple disciplines, and 14 bronze medals showcasing the depth of talent within DWTC Hospitality’s culinary teams.

Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice President at Dubai World Trade Centre, said: “This remarkable achievement at the Emirates International Salon Culinaire 2025 reflects our unwavering commitment to culinary excellence and our vision for DWTC Hospitality – to lead through innovation and invest in developing exceptional talent. Winning 51 medals and retaining the prestigious ‘Best Effort by an Individual Establishment – International’ award underscores the skill, creativity, and dedication of our culinary teams, who continue to set new benchmarks for the industry.

We take immense pride in nurturing homegrown talent and creating meaningful pathways for professional growth. This success not only reinforces DWTC’s leadership in hospitality but also strengthens Dubai’s position as a global culinary destination and a hub for world-class hospitality standards.”

Organised by the Emirates Culinary Guild as part of ExpoCulinaire 2025, the Emirates International Salon Culinaire 2025 brought together top culinary talent from around the world to showcase their cooking mastery on an unprecedented scale. Fully endorsed by Worldchefs and judged by an international panel of certified experts from the World Association of Chefs Societies, the prestigious competition attracts leading chefs, pastry chefs, cooks, and bakers, underscoring the growing global recognition of DWTC Hospitality’s role in shaping world-class culinary standards.

This year’s competition saw over 930 chef entries from the UAE and numerous countries from all over the world. The Chefs competed in 39 classes across all disciplines of the culinary arts, including practical cookery, static displays, Emirati cuisine, cake decorating, and showpiece categories.

Building on over four decades of excellence, DWTC continues to play an integral role in Dubai’s growth story. The 2025 honours reinforce DWTC’s pivotal role in advancing Dubai’s reputation as a premier destination for business, leisure, and hospitality.
