TRENDS Research and Advisory has signed a cooperation agreement with Dubai Media Academy to strengthen their partnership in media training and sustainable development.

The agreement also focuses on constructive collaboration in organising conferences, seminars, panel discussions, and workshops that address and analyse various contemporary issues, particularly those related to the media sector.

Signed by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, and Muna Busamra, Director of Dubai Media Academy, the agreement aims to enhance academic and research cooperation and integrate roles to achieve development and innovation in the media and knowledge industries. It also contributes to improving the quality of training and providing innovative research and scientific solutions that support the media sector locally, regionally, and internationally.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, stated that the cooperation agreement with Dubai Media Academy aims to develop specialised training programmes in the media field by combining academic and research knowledge with the latest globally recognised training methods and techniques.

He emphasised that the partnership between TRENDS and Dubai Media Academy aims to conduct knowledge studies and research projects to develop innovative solutions for the challenges facing the media industry and media professionals alike.

Dr. Al-Ali explained that the agreement enhances the exchange of knowledge and expertise between academics, researchers, and specialists from both sides through specialised conferences and seminars. The partnership will also involve releasing joint periodic reports and conducting polls on developments in scientific research, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes, thereby contributing to the improvement and development of the programmes and services offered.

He noted that the partnership will explore ways to integrate modern technology into media training and development strategies, including the use of artificial intelligence and augmented reality technologies.

Muna Busamra affirmed that the cooperation agreement between the academy and TRENDS Research and Advisory is part of a clear strategic vision aimed at making a significant shift in the media and research landscape at both the local and regional levels.

She stated that the partnership between the two entities is an important step toward enhancing cooperation in sustainable training and development with the goal of preparing a specialised generation in the media industry, equipped with the scientific and practical skills needed to compete and make a difference in the job market.

Busamra noted that the media sector requires scientific and research methodologies and strategies that enable it to withstand modern technological changes, making it essential for media institutions to engage with think tanks to advance media work.
