The tradition of hosting Iftar for delivery drivers, which first began in 2022 with one single hotel, is now being supported by 11 Radisson Hotels across UAE and Bahrain, which are uniting to extend a heart-warming gesture to the unsung heroes of food delivery services.

Volunteers from different departments will come together and safely proceed to the roadsides surrounding the hotels. These volunteers will distribute the food packs to all delivery drivers passing by, ensuring that every driver receives their share of generosity and appreciation. The Iftar food packs will include nutritious meals for the delivery drivers, allowing them to break their fast while on duty. Each food pack has been thoughtfully prepared with traditional Ramadan snacks, hot food, and refreshments.

The hotels will ensure that reaching as many drivers as possible goes smoothly during the designated hours. From March 17th to March 24th, 1500 Iftar food packs will be distributed across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras al Khaimah, and Bahrain.

The initiative aligns with Radisson Hotels’ Responsible Business pillars; Think People and Think Community—reflecting the brand’s commitment to positively impacting society while fostering a culture of care and compassion.

Neeraja Rahul, Chief Engineer at Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis and Regional Responsible Business Coordinator, said, ‘I am grateful to coordinate this community event during the Holy Month of Ramadan and to have more of our sister properties join hands for this great cause.

Jan Hanák, Managing Director UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and Egypt, said, “We initiated the ‘Iftar for Riders’ campaign in 2022 as a single hotel activity. It’s great to see its evolution, with most of our properties in the UAE joining in, and our hotel in Bahrain participating for the first time this year. I am thrilled to see the campaign gaining momentum year after year, growing stronger, and impacting our communities more. “
