Paramount Hotel Dubai’s award-winning theatrical dining experience is back! Turn back the clocks to the Roaring Twenties with a dash of sass as diners’ step into the story of ‘Murder at the Speakeasy: Show Me How You Burlesque’ at Flashback Speakeasy Bar & Lounge.
Enter an era of glamour and mystery as guests are invited to a dazzling new show that combines mystery, music, and flair at Paramount Hotel Dubai. The production offers a nostalgic twist for returning guests, featuring favorite songs and performances from the past three years of Paramount Hotel Dubai’s renowned Murder Mystery events, but this time with an entirely new storyline.
The evening brunch-like concept pulls out all the stops with a delectable four-course tasting menu served during the show, accompanied by free-flowing drink packages. Within each course, the murder mystery story will progress, taking the entire audience along, featuring live a roster of music performances, and a night of crime-solving for all members at the table.
Guests will have the honor of singing along to live vocal performances of exquisite talent performed by some of Dubai’s most renowned performers. Fan favorites Andrea Laguna and Lexie make a triumphant return, taking on new roles as Ruby and Gloria, promising an even more captivating performance. The talented Eleonora Barbacini steps into the role of Violet, embodying the essence of mystery and grace. And new to the Flashback Speakeasy family is Toi Dupras, who takes on her first official role as ‘Delilah.’
Diners are transported back to 1920s New York City at “Minskey’s,” the speakeasy owned by Mr. Minskey, a bootlegger and crime boss. Mr. Minskey has been murdered, unleashing a curse to ensure the killer does not go free. Guests are then tasked with determining the perpetrator and bringing them to justice.
Everyone is encouraged to come dressed up in their finest 1920s burlesque attire to fully immerse themselves. The evening will be filled with music, seduction, food, and crime-solving. Gathering clues from characters in hidden rooms, guests step into an alternative reality, contributing to solving a century-old homicide. Guests can anticipate being transported to the glitzy worlds of iconic films such as “Burlesque,” “Cabaret,” and “Chicago,” embarking on a musical journey that will have them tapping their feet and craving for more.
For those attending in late December, a unique seasonal twist adds a sprinkle of festive cheer to the thrilling murder mystery.
