InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & SPA is celebrating the UAE National Weekend with a series of special offerings.
On National Day, (Saturday, December 2nd) guests checking in can look forward to a special locally sourced In-Room arrival amenity of a chocolate bonbon stuffed with Emirati dates, Saffron and Jebel Jais dwarf bees’ honey. This treat will be offered to all arrivals and in-house guests of every nationality exclusively on Saturday to celebrate the day.
To showcase the region’s rich culinary offerings, Saffar Kitchen Collective will be adding Emirati breakfast and dinner dishes to the buffet options on Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd, with traditional options such as Shakshuka, Lamb Ouzi, Emirati mix grill and Gulf seafood, as well as traditional Khameer bread. Guests will be guided by a host who will share stories behind these special local culinary delights.
From December 1st to 7th, the resort’s lobby lounge Ramsa Lounge will also be inviting guests to indulge in an Emirati-themed Afternoon Tea, priced at AED 150 for two. This unique experience features delicious local Date scones, and an Emirati delight (Almond Frangipane, Emirati Saffron, and Local honey mousse, Date Sponge), with all pastries artfully decorated in the colours of the UAE flag.
The celebration also extends to Ramsa’s Pastry display, which will also highlight an array of pastries adorned in the UAE National colours. Then to quench your thirst, Ramsa Lounge will offer an inspired selection of refreshing Mocktails infused with Local Dates, Honey, and Zaatar. It’s a celebration of flavours that pays homage to the rich Emirati culinary heritage.
