The Aluminium Downstream Investment Opportunities Conference, will kick off in Doha on Tuesday , 27th May 2014 under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada , the Minister of Energy and Industry.
For this high caliber Conference, AZEM is bringing together top level experts from across the globe to contribute with their know?how and present their experiences on the Aluminum Downstream industry, AZEM company said in a press release issued here on Thursday.
The conference will be an ample opportunity to obtain a full investment opportunity profile for each project, as well as meet and interact with technology providers, investors, entrepreneurs, banks and financial institutions and businessmen, both regional and international.
Unveiling the rising opportunities for Aluminium Downstream Industries in Qatar, Azem Project Development, in Knowledge Partnership with Frost & Sullivan will be organizing such a conference which will be held at Intercontinental Hotel .
Moreover, the accompanying Exhibition will showcase the latest in innovation and techniques from the leaders in the Aluminum Downstream industry. Increasing Aluminium Smelter Capacities will drive the growth of Downstream Industries in the GCC In-depth session on the subject to be presented by Frost & Sullivan at the aforesaid conference.
The conference will present investment opportunities related to Aluminium Downstream with high returns to the private sector. The Aluminium production in the GCC is estimated at about 3.5 million Tonnes, which represents about 7% of the World total output.
Further, the Aluminium Downstream Industries in Qatar have become important to suffice the demand from local and other international markets. With high quality and competitive products, the industry will contribute significantly towards achieving the industrial diversification of Qatar.
Unveiling the rising opportunities for Aluminium Downstream Industries in Qatar, Azem Project Development, in Knowledge Partnership with Frost & Sullivan will be organizing a day-long conference on 27th May 2014 at Intercontinental Hotel the City, Doha, Qatar.
The total investments in Aluminium downstream projects are about QAR 1.2 Billion, with production capacity close to 260,000 Tonnes per year for different types of Aluminium products. The total demand for such products is more than 2.8 Million Tonnes in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
It is noted that Azem Project Development is a Qatari Company and its main business line is to develop small and medium project in the State of Qatar.
