Amazónico, the leading international restaurant brand renowned for its innovative Latin-American cuisine with outposts in Madrid, London, Dubai, and Riyadh, announces the promotion of Chef Diego Sánchez Vargas to the esteemed position of Group Executive Chef for the Middle East and Asia.
With this appointment, Chef Diego will be responsible for overseeing and elevating the culinary offerings across Amazónico’s expanding presence in the Middle East and Asia. His exceptional talent and creative expertise in the gastronomy domain have been instrumental in shaping the brand’s success and establishing Amazónico Dubai as the ultimate dining destination.
Chef Diego Sánchez Vargas joined Amazónico Dubai as Executive Chef and played a pivotal role in introducing the brand to the Middle East back in 2019. With a diverse wealth of international experience and a true passion and expertise for Latin American cuisine, Chef Diego Sanchez was one of the pioneering pillars to head the successful culinary pre-opening operations of the Amazónico Riyadh project. Chef Diego’s promotion as the Group Executive Chef for the Middle East and Asia comes as part of the group’s strategic expansion plan to bring its inventive Latin American delights to new audiences and to the flourishing F&B industry in the region and beyond.
