Black Tap And Enjoy Trill Collaboration Shakes Up Veganuary In The Uae

Diving into Veganuary the tasty way, Black Tap, UAE’s favourite craft burger and gourmet shake restaurant, is launching an all-new collaboration with Enjoy Trill. Fans embarking on Veganuary can enjoy two exclusive vegan CrazyShake® milkshakes launching at Black Tap outlets across the UAE from 1st – 31st January.

Founded by US and Switzerland-based company The Healthy Ice Cream, Enjoy Trill is the award-winning, sustainability-focused brand that has made it their mission to make ice cream healthier for consumers to eat and kinder to the planet to produce, without ever compromising on taste, texture or ultimate enjoyment.

Enjoy Trill’s 100% plant-based, low-sugar, gluten-free, keto-friendly ice-cream is a groundbreaking product in its own right. Made from natural ingredients, the specially formulated recipe contains just 4% sugar, with an Enjoy Trill ice-cream stick containing less sugar than a carrot. Seizing on these impressive credentials, the shake-making maestros at Black Tap have created two showstopper beverages that deliver all the incredible taste of a classic CrazyShake®, but just so happen to be dairy-free too – making them the perfect choice for January.

Based on shared passion for innovation and pushing culinary boundaries, as well as responding to consumer wants and needs, Black Tap and Enjoy Trill have come together to bring something entirely new to the region this Veganuary.

David Anderson, Executive Chef – Black Tap Burgers & Shakes Dubai said, “At Black Tap our commitment to producing exciting, delicious food and drinks is at the heart of everything we do. This of course extends to our vegan menu; when we started concepting our Veganuary campaign we set out to really mix things up and prove that vegan and plant-based food can also taste fantastic and look amazing. Our partnership with Enjoy Trill allowed us to do just that. Thanks to Enjoy Trill’s unique approach and high-quality product, we were able to create two vegan CrazyShake® milkshakes that will appeal to all – from long-term vegans to those who are dabbling in Veganuary or just want to try something different.”

Sylvain Perret, Co-founder – Enjoy Trill further added, “We’re thrilled to be a part of this collaboration with Black Tap. To be able to engineer a milkshake that is yummy, over-the-top, colourful and plant-based at the same time is very much in the DNA of Enjoy Trill, and what better brand than Black Tap, the king of CrazyShake® milkshakes to bring a more sustainable option together.”

The towering Choco Loco Vegan Shake (AED69) is the sort of dessert-in-a-glass that vegan chocolate lovers dream about. A rich chocolate brownie shake base is topped with soft and chewy organic oat cookies, an Enjoy Trill rice-crisp covered chocolate ice cream pop and a chocolate glazed donut. It doesn’t stop there though – the shake is finished with whirls of whipped cream, chocolate syrup, chocolate sticks and plenty of chocolate chips – all entirely vegan, of course.

Bringing fruity cheesecake vibes to the vegan CrazyShake® selection, the Pink Parade Vegan Shake (AED69) sees cascading swirls of pastel-coloured, velvety-smooth vegan strawberry shake laden with all kinds of sweet treats: crushed Graham crackers, an Enjoy Trill strawberry ice cream pop, frosted strawberry donut, the cutest of candy lollipops, pink sprinkles, a strawberry syrup drizzle and more. Both creamy, dreamy and entirely dairy-free January specials are finished in signature Black Tap style, with a gleaming Maraschino cherry on top.

In addition – and bringing an extra element to the already awesome options on Black Tap’s existing vegan menu, the Choco Loco and Pink Parade Shakes are set to be joined by two seriously special savoury vegan dishes. The decadent Vegan Truffle Shroom Burger (AED75) features a juicy black bean and mushroom patty, luxurious truffle porcini cream sauce, umami-rich shaving of vegan parmesan, meaty cremini mushrooms and a light and airy vegan potato roll for the ultimate vegan indulgence. On the lighter, brighter side of things, the colourful and crunchy Canal Street Chopped Salad (AED60) sees a rainbow array of nutrient rich ingredients: kale and cabbage, shredded Brussels sprouts, asparagus, siracha-glazed cashews and rice noodles included – bound together in an on-trend ume plum vinaigrette with mouthwatering results.

Black Tap’s Veganuary shakes and dishes are available from the 1st – 31st January.
