Taking you from early evenings to late nights seven days a week, chanca by COYA perfects an atmosphere of chic sophistication, sound tracked by incredible music. In line with the brand’s ethos, music plays a key role in creating chanca’s dynamic atmosphere. Born out of a passion for music back in 2017, COYA’s very own in-house music label is a collaborative project between COYA’s resident and international guest DJs to bring podcasts, releases, charts as well as one-of-a kind parties. “COYA MUSIC label is growing, top ranking tracks are happening and future releases with good names are already locked in. It is now time for the collective of COYA MUSIC to shine in chanca,” says Stephane Petit, Global Music Director and the creator of COYA MUSIC. Stephane adds “throughout a typical evening at chanca, we aim to capture the hearts and minds of our guests, enable them to party and have fun in a cosy, classy, mystic and electric atmosphere.”
The launch of the new venue also heroes a carefully designed bar menu with distinctive art adorning its pages along with colorful cocktails. Global Bar Manager, Sany Bacsi, fills us in on chanca’s must try cocktail: “We named the signature cocktail of chanca after the Goddess of the Moon, the third power of the Incan Mythology, Mama Quilla. Naturally, this is a Pisco-based cocktail in which we combine homemade pineapple liqueur, clarified lemongrass cordial, Pisco Quebranta and ginger ale. It is a clever twist on the classic Peruvian Chilcano, refreshing, well balanced and will be your perfect companion while dancing the night away with us.”
chanca is adorned with captivating Peruvian-inspired interiors housing illuminated antique bronze mirrors and a most impressive backlit onyx bar. The bespoke luxurious furnishings are surrounded with layered wall panels made of stones and backlit with unique constructed architectural lighting, all with granite and woven leather mesh. Chanca’s interior design creates the perfect stage for unforgettable nights out in Dubai.
