DAMAC Hotels will have over 10,000 keys in operation across the Middle East by the end of 2017, the company announced at the Arabian Travel Market exhibition in Dubai.

The hotel management arm of DAMAC Properties will become one of the largest operators of serviced living in the region over the next three years, with more than 2,550 of the units already online and in operation before the end of 2014.

Highlighting the importance of the hospitality sector to DAMAC Properties, the company confirmed that the portfolio will be managed between DAMAC Maison  brand and the company’s other recently launched luxury Hotel apartment brand, ‘NAIA by DAMAC’.

Also DAMAC Maison and NAIA by DAMAC will feature hotels and hotel apartments extending the company’s reach into luxury hotels.

“The hospitality industry in Dubai and the region is on a stratospheric rise, as we look to welcome more than 20 million visitors a year to Dubai in the next six years,” said Ziad El Chaar, Managing Director, DAMAC Properties. “The DAMAC Maison Hotel and Hotel Apartments brand is quickly becoming a market leader in luxury serviced living in Dubai, offering high-end services with a personalised and homely feel.”

The company opened its first luxury serviced hotel apartments in December 2013, with the completion of DAMAC Maison – Dubai Mall Street. The 50-storey, 355 unit tower overlooks the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.

According to the latest HotStats survey, Hotels in Dubai reported the highest profit levels in the region in 2013 for the fourth consecutive year. Tourism numbers are set to more than double up to 2020, with the Emirate anticipating more than 20 million visitors a year by the time Expo 2020 opens.

DAMAC Maison Hotel and Hotel Apartments offer investors an attractive return on their apartment in the months they do not reside there through an innovating rental pool programme.

Rooms are let and managed by the experienced hotel management team, removing all the hassle from the owner to source a tenant.

Properties under the DAMAC Maison Hotel and Hotel Apartments portfolio all include a luxurious and peaceful spa, high-end restaurants, stunning lobby areas with meeting space, a kids club & baby-sitting service, with dedicated and qualified staff, and fully-fitted kitchens throughout.

The service also offers luxuries including in-room hair & nail treatments, 24-hour room service; an internationally-renowned chef who will cook for you in your apartment, personal shopping consultants and a team to arrange all overseas travel arrangements on your behalf.

DAMAC Maison Hotels and Hotel Apartments has also introduced a high-tech customer management system to ensure all guests requirements are met from the moment they arrive in Dubai. Once a guest informs staff of a special request, it will be added to the system so that it is delivered every time they visit a DAMAC Maison property.

“DAMAC Maison Hotels and Hotel Apartments is the pinnacle of serviced living in Dubai,” added El Chaar. “Set in the prime locations with the best city views and access to a wealth of entertainment options, each property has its own identity and memorable moments.”
