Introducing State of Mind, the new e-commerce activewear brand that was built on the foundations of empowering wellness and a purposeful mindset. Launched with the ambition to push for more of a sustainable means in the way we think, shop, and work out, everything that the State of Mind brand touches is with a conscious meaning behind it.

Becoming the first Kuwaiti and Arab woman to launch a womenswear activewear brand in the region, Dana Al Khobaizi is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to sustainability. With the combination of her in-depth knowledge about the power of socio-economic initiatives, the need to commit to living a health-conscious lifestyle, and her expertise in fashion retail, State of Mind was built to bring Al Khobaizi’s passion and expertise altogether.

Revolving around living attentively, Al Khobaizi and her in-house design team created a collection, State of Mind Active, with the intention of sourcing and producing garments in an environmentally friendly way. Organic cotton is naturally dyed with no harmful chemical traces at a GOTS-certified facility, by using naturally sourced raw materials such as seeds, nuts, plants, and vegetables to achieve the wonderful colour options, that all seamlessly coordinate together in the collection.

“After seeing a gap in the market for options of activewear garments that truly fit the Arab female physic with ease and comfort, I wanted to build a brand that met those needs and to offer women a stylish, conscious activewear collection, while empowering wellness and a powerful mindset. Blending function with sustainable thinking and style in this manner is the way forward,” comments Dana Al Khobaizi.

Merging fashionable design with highly functional details, the State of Mind Active collection has been designed as full looks and can be layered effortlessly together, allowing women to feel confident and chic while going to-and-from the gym. The collection includes a versatile range of leggings, sports bras, and tank tops that all can be seamlessly styled with its selection of oversized shirts and jackets. Each garment has been created with functional details for ease and support, such as being quick-dry, a 7/8 length option, a four-way stretch fabric, and built-in support for maximum comfort. Designs are fresh, figure-flattering, and fashion-forward with contrasting colour features, criss cross backs, and a colour palette that brings it all cohesively together.

Continuing to honor its brand values, State of Mind has partnered with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization on global reforestation, to help them with its mission of restoring forests, creating habitat for biodiversity, and making a positive social impact around the world. With every garment purchased from State of Mind Active, One Tree Planted will plant a single tree, allowing customers to not only invest in an active lifestyle but will be joining State of Mind and One Tree Planted in investing in a better future.

With a commitment to consciously living a life of empowering fitness and wellness, Dana Al Khobaizi has built a brand that is deeply woven with sustainable values at its core and resembles everything that she stands for.
