Al Qana, the scenic and picturesque waterfront social dining and entertainment destination in Abu Dhabi, today announced its partnership with the UAE’s leading contemporary and urban supermarket chain, Grandiose.

Grandiose will introduce a vibrant, community-minded gourmet dining concept and food hall to Abu Dhabi’sexciting new leisure hub, created especially with the tastes and expectations of Abu Dhabi’s community in mind. More than just a contemporary culinary offering, the new food hall will showcase a diverse selection of popular gourmet treats and immersive culinary options, that plays perfectly with Al Qana’s vision to become a thriving lifestyle hub offering memorable moments for visitors of all ages.

This is Grandiose’s fourth store in the capital city of Abu Dhabi, which will be located in “The Community Place” at Al Qana, covering a total area of 13,270 square foot including the food hall. The concept will invite visitors on a culinary journey, sampling food and flavours from the city, country, and region, with an emphasis on fresh and organic supplies. Al Qana’s preference to collaborate with Grandiose was motivated by both brand’s shared commitment to providing distinct, one-of-a-kind experiences, its focus on championing seasonal, local and artisanal products in its branches and its efforts in preserving the environment through various local initiatives.

Stuart Gissing, General Manager of Al Qana said: “The blend of setting up a Supermarket & FoodHall in a customer journey is a trend that has grown in popularity over the past year in the UAE and the world. We are excited to expand the concept into Abu Dhabi through our collaboration with Grandiose, as Al Qana’s unique location within the capital and its huge array of entertainment and dining options provide all the ingredients to create a thriving lifestyle hub within the destination. The food hall complements the plethora of other unique local and dining experiences Al Qana has to offer to become a foodie location of choice in Abu Dhabi and affirms our commitment to continually develop and introduce new and fresh ideas to the market.”

Olivier Latour, CEO of Grandiose Supermarkets said: “Our partnership with Al Qana reflects our ambitions to further expandGrandiose in the UAE and launch a new generation of stores in key locations.
