The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) and Underwriters Laboratories US, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the areas of measurement, conformity evaluation, testing, management system and other relevant fields.
The MoU was signed on the margins of the 2nd edition of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council 2014, was held at Saint Regis Island on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, under the aegis of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser.
It aims at strengthening joint cooperation and enhancing product quality, leading to bolstering the economic ties between the UAE and US.
The MoU was signed by Abdullah Hassan Al Moueini, executive director for conformity service programmes sector at the QCC and Hamed Al Sayyed, Vice President, Director-General of the Middle East, Underwriters Laboratories US.
