Arab Workshop on Electronic Money Transfer

Arab post departments are discussing in Doha the launch of electronic money transfer program as part of the Arab region’s development plan for 2013-2016.
A workshop organized by Qatar’s General Post Department for two-days is defining the needs of Arab countries and setting the technical milieu for the program.
Mohamed Jabor Al Nuaimi, director of financial affairs at Qatar’s General Post Department said the department will soon sign agreements on electronic money transfer with Tunisia, Morocco , Yemen and India , besides the current service with Egypt.
Al Nuaimi said the service of electronic money transfer will be available in all the department’s offices in the country.
