The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has issued a new circular stating that business and entertainment event attendees in the capital will have to take Covid-19 PCR tests 48 hours prior.
Additionally, staff at the venue and organisers must undergo Covid-19 testing on a weekly basis. A maximum capacity allowed at different types of events has been defined as well; private beaches and swimming pools may operate at 60 per cent, business events at 50 per cent and entertainment events at 30 per cent.
The DCT stated that touristic and hotel establishments, and events, will be inspected to verify compliance with instructions. Legal measures will be taken against offenders.
