Whittaker’s has just launched a new collection that celebrates dark chocolate, ethically sourced from the forests of Samoa, Nicaragua and Ghana.
The Whittaker’s Cocoa Lovers‑ Collection is the brand’s darkest chocolate range yet, blending intense cocoa notes with ethically sourced beans; the lineup features 70% – 92% Ghanaian cocoa content.
The new 100g Cocoa Lovers Collection includes – the 70% Cocoa Samoa Chocolate that offers delicate, sweet and creamy flavours of Samoan cocoa bean, 76% Cocoa Nicaragua Chocolate that blends specialty Nicaraguan cocoa beans to give a bright, fruity flavour with a rich aroma, 86% Cocoa Ghana Chocolate, which intensifies the layers of Ghanaian cocoa flavour with its roasted nutty finish and 92% Cocoa Ghana Chocolate, which delivers a strong, rich flavours.
Whittaker’s selects cocoa beans that are ethically, fairly and sustainably produced and provides education to farmers on cocoa quality and yield.
Apart from the speciality Samoan and Nicaraguan cocoa beans, Whittaker’s sources all the other cocoa beans it uses from Ghana and recently announced that all of its chocolate crafted with Ghanaian cocoa beans is 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified. This encompasses well over 100 products, including the new 86% and 92% chocolate blocks.
The range is now available on supermarket shelves and in other retail outlets across the UAE.
