GARAGE restaurant has opened at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island, with a Friday brunch launching on January 31, 2020.
The interior of GARAGE is an open kitchen journey, spread over five cuisine sections, with each outlet designed for people to interact with the chefs and watch their food being prepared. Additionally, guests are able to enjoy stunning seating outdoors during the cooler months, overlooking the racetrack and Marina.
The culinary journey is driven by five unique concepts: Steam Table, Nikkei House, Mezza Bar, Meat Vault and Tart Van.
Steam Table: Offering big, bold street-food flavors, Steam Table allows for a sensorial experience of aromas and theatrically crafted steamed and stir-fried delicacies.
Nikkei House: Nikkei House combines the recipes of Japan and traditional flavors of Peru. Dishes include the Tuna Tiradito with yellow fin tuna, avocado, Nikkei sauce, onions, and snow peas and Clasico Ceviche, a Greek seabass with cilantro, lime juice, Peruvian corn and sweet potato. These combinations bring together the best of Japanese-Peruvian flavor along with splashes of spice, texture and heritage.
Mezza Bar: With an open brick kitchen and rustic textures, the menu transports guests to a kitchen-style setting filled with the sounds and scents of Arabian cuisine.
Meat Vault: Meat Vault showcases the very best of carvery and traditional cooking techniques built on the idea that the finest cuts are preserved under lock and key. A taste to be savored, the matured flavors are guarded until perfection.
Tart Van: Tart Van serves up thin crust, buttery tarts with flavours such as banana caramel, blueberry cheesecake, s’mores and more.
Lastly, GARAGE will be home to Tap Wall, a curated selection of handcrafted beverages, with a menu constantly rotating 10-15 beverages which are easily dispensed and served to all guests.
