UAE Arabtec Holding PJSC (Arabtec) based in Abu Dhabi, has raised the salaries of 36, 000 workers at average of 20 per cent for each workers in its projects nationwide.

The move is part of the state’s effort to provide an exemplary work environment to workers as well as setting labour cities that keep pace with the urban, industrial and economic development being experienced by the UAE. It also aims to highlight the UAE’s labour rights protection.

Hani Hirzallah, Personnel Manager at Arabtec, said in a statement to Uloom al-Dar Bulletin, telecasted by Abu Dhabi TV Channel, that the increment of workers’ salaries is very important as the workers are the backbone of Arabtec.
