Bahri, a global leader in logistics and transportation, has been awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification after the company successfully developed and implemented an integrated strategy for information security management to protect information assets, such as customer, employee and stakeholder data.
The certification was received on behalf of Bahri by Mr. Naser Al-Abdulkareem, President, Bahri Oil, during a ceremony held at the company’s office in Dubai. A number of officials from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and Bahri, attended the ceremony.
The latest certification by ISO validates that Bahri’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) adheres to the highest standards, ensuring the security of sensitive information assets. It also comes as a testimony to the company’s efforts to implement world-class processes and controls to confirm that its services meet the international benchmarks in security and quality.
