Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index slightly gained 0.38 points when the bourse closed trading at 10,398.33 points on Tuesday.
The daily turnover decreased to QR 199,765 Million with a volume of 4,852,697 shares from 2,562 deals compared with QR 249,971 Million with a volume of 6,195,696 shares from 3,255 deals on Monday.
Indices of two sectors ended in the green and four sectors ended in red today. Transportation sector ended in the green, gained +0.23% to 2,423.01 points. While Consumer Goods & Services sector index decreased -0.76% to 5,913.35 points.
QSE Total Return Index gained when it closed at 16,162.71 points today. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index closed -0.47% to 3,827.1 points. QSE All Share Index down -0.02% to 2,764.81 points.
From the 43 companies listed on QSE, 41 saw trading today. From these, eight gained, Thirty one closed lower and two remained unchanged.
