Qatar Participates in 31st Session of COMCEC

CE9m7AFWIAAep6_The State of Qatar took part in the 31st session of the Standing Committee of the Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC), currently being held in Istanbul under the chairmanship of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan with participation of the OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani along with OIC Ministers of Economy and Commerce and Investment and representatives of regional and international organizations.

HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani led Qatar’s delegation to the session.

Participants discussed economic and trade issues of common interest between the OIC member states , including the global economic developments that have taken place on the world arena and its impacts on the member states in addition to the report of the senior officials meeting, which was held on November 23 – 24.
