The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, ADIPEC, will reinforce cooperation within oil and gas industries amongst GCC nations, according to Dr. Jamal Ja’faar, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Planning and Commercial at Kuwait Oil Company, KOC.
Speaking to Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, on the sidelines of the 18th ADIPEC conference, the official said that the event was a chance for regional petroleum and natural gas entities to converse with their international counterparts.
The rapid development of the industry required from all parties involved to be updated on the recent innovations in the industry, said Dr. Ja’faar who stressed that KOC, as a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, was keen on following the latest global data and statistics.
KOC’s involvement in ADIPEC is to promote its projects and investments to global partners, said the official, indicating that the company was amongst the few entities to offer new ventures despite the shaky status of oil prices.
