HE Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Thani on Tuesday met NASDAQ Vice Chairman Sandy Frucher, currently on a visit to Doha.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) and NASDAQ Stock Market in order to develop the financial market in Qatar.
QSE CEO Rashid bin Ali Al Mansoori attended the meeting.
NASDAQ is an American stock exchange that was founded in 1971 as the first electronic stock market in the United States. It has a greater trading volume than any other U.S. exchange and includes about 3,200 publicly traded companies.
