A delegation representing Dutch and German Business Councils in the UAE have stressed the importance of the Emirate of Fujairah and its growing economy in the petroleum industry along with other manufacturing industries, which represent an important part of the economy of the country.
Sharif Habib Al Awadi, Director-General of the Fujairah Free Zone Authority, met yesterday with a delegation headed by Giovanni Angiolini, Chairman of Netherland Business Council, NBC, at the authority Business Club.
The visit aimed to examine the available investment opportunities in the UAE and the services provided by the Fujairah Free Zone Authority for investors, as well as ways to enhance economic cooperation.
The delegation was briefed by Al Awadi on the most important features and services offered to its customers, the most important investment projects hosted by the free zone and the extent of both the qualitative and technical development achieved by the emirate in their economic activities. The delegation later toured some of the free zone’s companies, and the visit concluded with the exchange of souvenirs.
