Long-established maritime transport solutions provider Milaha participated as ‘Silver Sponsor’ in the three-day 4th Annual Qatar Transport Forum 2015 that recently concluded in the Qatari capital.

It was held under the royal patronage of HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and hosted by the Ministry of Transport. The event focussed on the theme ‘Moving Forward: Providing Business Opportunities and Stimulating Qatar’s Transport Sector.’

At the forum Milaha shared insights and reinforced its role into the country’s transport sector, which has witnessed significant growth this year. The event also provided Milaha the opportunity to explore possible business openings with prospective local and regional clients, and to highlight its accomplishments and future strategies.

Abdulrahman Essa Al-Mannai, the newly-appointed President and CEO of Milaha, affirmed: “Our participation in the Qatar Forum enabled us to have an overview of the nation’s transport sector and discuss solutions to the challenges faced by the maritime and logistics industry.”

The 2015 Annual Qatar Transport Forum discussed topics such as financing of transport projects, traffic management, and engineering and modelling. More than 30 industry professionals delivered valuable insights on Qatar’s transport sector.
