MOU The national charity school 2

Today, grants and scholarships have opened doors for students in helping them pursue higher studies. Thanks to the thoughtful guidance and monetary support given by universities like Skyline University College, Sharjah.

Skyline University College (SUC) inked an MOU with The National Charity School in Sharjah on April 29, 2015. In tune with this MOU, SUC is offering scholarships which are spread over four years to 309 students from The National Charity School.

Mr. Nitin Anand, COEC, Skyline University College and Dr. Kamal Mohammed Farhat, General Manager, The National Charity School signed the MOU. SUC will be giving scholarships to the top nine students who have excelled academically.

Elaborating further Mr. Nitin Anand, COEC, Skyline University College, said, “Skyline believes in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility towards the community, society and stakeholders enabling them to continue studies by offering various types of scholarships. In the same context SUC has extended a scholarship proposal to The National Charity School to upgrade the employees and students educational qualifications. SUC wishes to allot an academic scholarship fund for both BBA and MBA programs. This will be applicable for the AY 2015-16 that covers (May 2015, September 2015 and January 2016 intakes).”

To pursue its social responsibility SUC will be offering scholarships to financially needy students who are denied education because of limited income. SUC also encourages and motivates academic excellence amongst students by offering merit based scholarships. One of the purposes of awarding merit based scholarship is to attract academically bright students to the university.

This news comes as a blessing for bright and scholar students whose financial and economic condition forced them to discontinue their studies.
