Jaguar Land Rover MENA and its exclusive importer in the State of Qatar, Alfardan Premier Motors Co., have unveiled the Jaguar XE and the Range Rover Sport SVR to the MENA region during the 2015 Qatar Motor Show. Making their first appearances in the region, both vehicles are set to blow away the crowds of motoring fans attending the show.
Jaguar XE
Motor show guests will be invited to take a closer look at Jaguar’s latest and most exciting car launch, the Jaguar XE. Redefining the concept of the sports saloon, the XE is the only vehicle in its class to use an aluminium-intensive monocoque enabling exceptional vehicle dynamics, perfect proportions and a streamlined profile.
With the new Ingenium diesel engines, the XE can achieve 75mpg and 99g/km CO2 making it the most efficient Jaguar ever. Powered by the supercharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine from the acclaimed Jaguar F-TYPE, the XE S is capable of 0-100km/h in just 5.1 seconds (0-60mph in just 4.9 seconds).
Offering outstanding levels of comfort and spaciousness, the XE is also the stiffest, most aerodynamic Jaguar saloon car ever built. It is the first Jaguar to be equipped with electric power steering, tuned to provide exceptional responsiveness and feel but with lower energy consumption than hydraulic systems. The XE also boasts the lowest cost of ownership and most environmentally sustainable credentials of all Jaguar models.

Range Rover Sport SVR
Billed as the fastest, most powerful Land Rover ever produced, the Range Rover Sport SVR is the very first Jaguar Land Rover vehicle to wear the SVR designation being adopted by future high-performance models. Accelerating from 0-100km/h in 4.7 seconds, the Range Rover Sport SVR has a top speed electronically limited to 260km/h and has recently set a Nürburgring Nordschleife lap time of 8 minutes 14 seconds – one of the fastest times ever recorded by a production SUV underlining its performance credentials.
Boasting several world firsts such as its two-stage active exhaust featuring electronically controlled valves and unique 22 inch alloy wheels with performance-optimised tyres, the Range Rover Sport SVR represents exhilarating performance combined with leading-edge design.
Exterior design enhancements and bespoke interior ensure the Range Rover Sport SVR makes a striking visual impact giving occupants a unique and premium sports SUV experience. The vehicle unleashes the full potential of lightweight and robust all-aluminium architecture, while retaining the refinement, luxury and off-road capability Land Rover is renowned for.

The Jaguar XE and Range Rover Sport SVR will be on display at Jaguar Land Rover’s stand during the entirety of the 2015 Qatar Motor Show, taking place from February 6-10 at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
