Kahramaa Holds 4th Session of Human Development Program

Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) held the fourth session of its cultural season 2014-15 that comprises a series of personality- and confidence-building programs for its staff in line with its corporate objective to attract, develop and retain a high-performing workforce and support Qatarization.

In its first day, the two-day session focused on positive thinking, personal and career planning, and how to set a positive objective, while the second day focused on creativity and mind map, Kahramaa said in a press release.

The focus of the program is to support employees in creating an environment where staff feel supported and encouraged in their personality development endeavors enabling simultaneously to deliver high-quality outputs within a healthy work environment. The season, which started in June, will end in March.

Kahramaa is a state owned corporation that has the privilege of being the sole transmission and distribution system owner and operator (TDSOO) for the electricity and water sector in Qatar. It was established in July 2000 to regulate and maintain the supply of electricity and water to customers.
