HE the Minister of Development Planning and Statistics Dr. Saleh bin Mohammed Al Nabit has called on Qatar University students to focus more on science and reading, which have a major impact on improving their skills , knowledge and expanding perceptions of their understanding in various fields.
Speaking at ” Coffee with the graduate” function, organized by the Qatar University Alumni Association, HE the Minister said that there is no doubt that the competitiveness that characterized by the State of Qatar is a depletable hydrocarbon sources, so we had to invest in our alternative sources, saying the best investment is the investment in Qatari human brains which will be a comparative advantage of the State of Qatar to gain access to knowledge-based economy. He noted that it is necessary to focus on education and developing it in various creative and innovative aspects.
