Dubai Parks and Resorts LLC, a Meraas Holding company, today announced the appointment of Parques Reunidos, one of the leading and fastest-growing leisure park operator in the world, as park operators for motiongate Dubai and Bollywood Parks Dubai, taking shape at the emirate’s newest leisure and entertainment destination.
The agreement, which marks Parques Reunidos’ foray into the Middle East, was announced on the sidelines of the World Travel Market, the leading global event for the travel industry in London in November this year. As part of a management contract, Parques Reunidos will operate and manage two of the key components at the mega entertainment hub.
Parques Reunidos is an international Madrid-based entertainment operator that manages 54 theme and amusement parks, water parks, zoological and marine life parks around the world, primarily across Europe and the US.

Bollywood Parks Dubai is a first-of-its-kind entertainment destination that will showcase the authentic Indian movie experience in an interactive format. Spread over a total area of three million square feet the theme park will host five movie themed areas featuring content developed in partnership with Mumbai’s major film studios. Five themed zones such as ‘Mumbai Chowk’, ‘Bollywood Film Studios, ‘Hall Of Heroes’, ‘Royal Plaza’ and Rustic Ravine’ will capture the kaleidoscope of color, emotion, music and visuals. The destination hotspot will also run an ongoing site-wide live entertainment fixture combining dance performances, character interactions and street theatre to keep guests energized and engaged.
