Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank’s Islamic Banking department announced today its strategic partnership with the 10th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF). The conference, which is a specialised edition of the World Economic Forum held annually in Davos, Switzerland, and London, will be hosted for the first time in Dubai from 28th to 30th October.

The strategic partnership with the 10th WIEF is a testimonial to the ADCB Islamic Banking commitment towards driving innovation, inclusion and stability to strengthen the global Islamic financial industry.

On the occasion, Amr Al Menhali, Head of Islamic Banking at ADCB, said, “We are delighted to partner with WIEF and strengthen ADCB’s position and expertise to be part of Dubai’s ambition to become the capital of the Islamic economy. Islamic banking is still relatively young when compared to the conventional, though maturing rapidly. Islamic Banking is at ADCB’s core, thus solutions provide the highest levels of quality, service and convenience, through a full Sharia compliance offering.” ADCB Islamic Banking is a partner of choice for the growth of Islamic banking customers and businesses. ADCB provides customised product packages, outstanding services and expert advice that are available to all existing and potential clients across the U.A.E.. In an attempt to support the growth of the SME sector in the U.A.E., ADCB has partnered with the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development to provide subsidised facilities to businesses owned by U.A.E. nationals. Such endeavors are in line with the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 by diversifying and contributing to the capital’s economy.
