Empower opens new Customer Service Centre in Business Bay

Empower today announced the opening of its latest Customer Service Centre in Dubai’s Business Bay area, enhancing ties with its 10,000 customers in the neighbourhood.

The new Customer Service Centre will facilitate all services offered by the company in order to meet the needs of customers in the area, including registration, bill enquiries and payment and complaints resolution for up to 180 customers per day. This is the fourth facility of its kind, after similar centres in Al Hudaiba Awards Buildings, the Jumeirah Beach Residence and Jumeirah Lake Towers.

Ahmad bin Shafar, Chief Executive Officer of Empower, said, “Being more accessible to our customers is critical. These service centres will not only serve thousands of people, who we are proud to call our customers, but will also bring us closer to our many clients and spread awareness of district cooling technology to wider audiences.” Empower currently operates two district cooling plants in the Business Bay area, with an estimated capacity of 100,000 Refrigeration Tonnes, RT. The most recent facility in Business Bay came on – stream in August 2014, and is notable for being the first district cooling plant built as per Green Building guidelines.

The company currently holds the world’s largest district cooling services portfolio. In total, its existing network consists of one million RT of capacity across many landmark real estate projects in Dubai, including Business Bay, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai Healthcare City, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Palm Jumeirah and Discovery Gardens.
